Objectives

The goal of this course is to enable web developers to build decentralized applications on the Zilliqa blockchain platform. The Zilliqa platform advances the principles behind decentralized software, also known as Web 3.0, and requires a fundamental shift in the way we build software.

Structure

Full-time course

2 months (February – March 2020)

7 Sessions, 3 Hours Each

This course is delivered over 21 classroom hours – comprising of 7 sessions, 3 hours each. Lessons will cover:

Introduction to Zilliqa’s Protocol
Smart Contracts
Decentralised Web Applications
How to deploy your Dapp

7 Modules Per Session

Each session will consist of 7 modules, which will equip students with the basic fundamentals and a better understanding of various aspects of the Zilliqa protocol. These modules will include assignments and project work which will give students the opportunity to work on real-life problems.

Pre-requisites

Participants require a good understanding of how the traditional client-server model works, and a basic understanding of Blockchain technology. Participants are also required to have a working experience with the JavaScript language, as well as a basic familiarity with HTML/CSS.
